Filip Pejovik

Filip received his LL.B. from the University of Birmingham, along with an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Law & Society from York University. During his undergraduate days at York University, Filip volunteered with the Workplace Labour Studies Student Association, where he assisted as its Financial Officer. Filip’s passion for volunteering continued at the University of Birmingham, where he was a member of the school’s pro bono and street law group.

Filip has practiced exclusively in employment law since his call to the Bar in 2017. Before he joined MacDonald & Associates, he worked at another well known employment law firm in uptown Toronto. It was at this firm where Filip learned how to advocate and help both employees and employers with all of their matters. Filip not only worked on civil cases, such as constructive dismissals and wrongful dismissals, but also assisted in all aspects of human rights litigation, and management side labour.

Currently, Filip’s practice involves all types of civil matters, including wrongful dismissals and constructive dismissals, human rights matters before the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario, and the Canadian Human Rights Commission, and providing all forms of day-to-day legal advice.

In his spare time, Filip loves being with his family (including his Vizsla dog), travelling to Boston to catch a Red Sox game, and keeping an eye out for the best coffee in Toronto.
